Customer Service (Former Employee) says

"The company has downsized twice within the last 8 months and have laid off over half their employees due to the companies financial difficulties. I would caution anyone to apply to this company!"

Call Center Representative (Former Employee) says

"These people don't train you properly , firre you without explanation even if it was a family emergency an you had to leave. Management sucks don't work here.Free foodEverything else"

Order Processor (Former Employee) says

"I worked there for over 5 years and can say the managment is the worse part. The communication is horrible and each department is treated like they are in a totally separate building and should not be mingling with the other departments. They stress this fun and relaxing work environment with all these from games and food and perks, but it's not like that at all After the first year you will get the same negative out look like everyone else. It's so fake. And there is no advancement at all. Where ever you start in the company is where you stay. Very few get to move to another department and when you do it's a lateral move. No advancement at all. And the family atmosphere is because the Collins own the company. So if your not family your going no where. Beware!Free lunch every now and then.No advancement, a lot of drama, you have to be family to advance"

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"I really liked working here. The manager made you feel at home but for the most part did not let you breath. She was always down your neck. She expects you to work with so many customers all at once. I honestly feel like she picks on the people that want to do their job but does not say anything to the ones that don’t care. If you don’t choose the dress you want to purchase in your size she will question you about it because she doesn’t want you using your discount for anyone. She has the fakest smile! I honestly left because of her, she’s unbearable.Chill environmentShortest breaks ever, the manager, there are no free lunches as they claim"

Greeter (Former Employee) says

"I learned how to communicate with others really well. I enjoyed meeting new people and getting to help customers find their dream dress. The workplace culture was too fake for me something I was really disappointed about. The hardest part was having to run around with multiple customers. A typical day at work was honestly stressful for me.meeting peopleshort lunch breaks"

Besa Adzanela says

"very bad quality and overpriced. dont buy from here please. save your money"

Kim says

"Terrible customer service during the pandemic. I will tell everyone I know NOT to order from this company."

Lynn Fisher says

"Do not order! Doing nothing for kid's already heartbroken that their senior year and prom has been cancelled! Out $375.00. Dress was not of great quality either!!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves! Most stores extending their retun policy!!!!"

Andrea Hollister says

"Do not order from Prom Girl EVER! I agree with the previous reviews and the company is not assisting in returns during this pandemic. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD. I am calling the Better Business Bureau about them. Hopefully they will go out of business because of their completely atrocious customer service"

Corrin says

"DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD WITH THIS PANDEMIC! WE UNDERSTAND THEY HAVE "POLICIES" - HOWEVER THIS IS A UNIQUE SITUATION AND PROMGIRL SHOULD STAND BEHIND THEIR CUSTOMERS AND ALLOW THOSE GIRLS WHOSE PROM EVENTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED TO RETURN THEIR UNALTERED AND UNWORN DRESSES NEW WITH TAGS BACK TO THE COMPANY! WE LOVE THROWING $500 OUT THE WINDOW!"

steve l says

"Returned dress within 48 hours. 40 days later no refund. This website is a scam. There are no returns. If you send it back you lose all you’re money. No answers from customer service. No way to talk to anyone. SCAM WEBSITE."

Jenny Houglum says

"This is a complete scam. Ordered a dress on March 28th, received it 5 days later. During the shipment my daughters Prom was cancelled. I have tried contacting Promgirl 6 times to return the dress. Their policy states to contact them within 7 days for a refund. I have emailed them twice and left two phone messages, all within the 7 day window. 16 days later and they have failed to respond. Interesting how the money was removed from my account 2 days after ordering and I received the dress 5 days later, but yet they fail to reply to a return request. I understand with the pandemeic times are tough and staffing may be an issue, but yet they were so quick to send dress and take my money. So, clearly somebody is still working. Extrememly disappointed! DO NOT ORDER FROM PROMGIRL.NET"

Susan says

"wouldn't let me return the dress because it was 2 days after the one month deadline in the middle of a pandemic. The material was cheap and the dress poorly fitting"

Jennifer White says

"Terrible!!! Given the global pandemic and proms being cancelled for the health and safety of our citizens they will not take a return on a dress that has not been worn or altered. They said it is a 3 day return policy and I should have returned then. Two months ago I had no idea we would be in a global pandemic. Not only is my daughter incredibly disappointed about prom being cancelled, now she is out $300 that she worked to save. People are being asked to be flexible and understanding to get through this crisis. Looks like prom girl.com feels they are the exception to this rule. Disgraceful!"
